The Library Box is a combination of a router, USB drive and software that allows you to download materials onto the USB drive, put the drive into the Library Box and then wirelessly transfer that material to a listening device. It can hold 32G or approximately 300 NNELS zip files.
If you have any questions, please contact Angela Schnell at Provincial Library and Literacy Office (firstname.lastname@example.org, 306-787-5977).

Why would I use it?
In a branch where the wireless internet is unreliable, it allows library staff to help a patron get material on their listening device wirelessly. It can also be taken to a patron’s home, a care centre or a classroom that does not have reliable wireless internet and patrons can access the content available on the Library Box. PLLO has preloaded 40 NNELS content onto the Library Box. These titles are primarily by Saskatchewan authors and publishers. Libraries can add and delete NNELS titles, as needed.
How do I use it?
A patron will need to have purchased and downloaded VoiceDream Reader (available for iOS and Android) onto their listening device. VoiceDream Reader will unzip the audio files and play the books. VoiceDream Reader can also be used to wirelessly download files directly from nnels.ca, wherever a reliable internet connection is available.
